![]() *Also this will trigger some downvotes for sure-but part of this is that a lot of people just don't have much in the way of imagination, generally speaking.may also be related to how some people don't care much about their character and see it as more of a tool than a "character" with any sort of lore concept or identity in mind. I wish more games had the same kind of system as at least "basic" customization is better than nothing (**Outriders for example-at first there was no transmog, so player characters always looked like "mismatched clowns" as you say.and yeah it irked the hell out of me I always want my character to look cool and badass instead of a bum that just picked up whatever clothes he found a few minutes ago.) D3's transmog/dye system could be better but at least it's something. and *that* is when it's time to make the character look cool, imo. At a certain point you're set and won't be changing items that often at all. ![]() Yeah the "gear changes too much" argument is odd, as that only applies when a character is leveling up to 70.
